Finally!!!
Hi Folks!
I've finally managed to come up with a design I like, and find the time to re-design my website. I'm trying to escape the good, old "box" mentality. It's still in a bit of flux, so bear with me. Once again, it's made with valid transitional XHTML , and valid CSS (and NO TABLES!!!!). There will also be a little bit of AJAX techniques to make this fancy thing run (which is why it's transitional XHTML rather than strict XHTML). Specifically the blog page (and probably the photos pages). I'm trying not to use it too much, since it will make the site search engine "unfriendly."
In case you're wondering about how to navigate this bad boy, you'll see 2 tabs on the left hand side. One says "Navigation". If you click on that, a tab with options will be displayed. Click the tab again, and the nav will hide itself. On the home page, and any blog-related page, you'll also see one that says "Calendar". Click this tab and a calendar shows up. Double click on the a date (assuming it's grey, of course), and the blog for that day will be displayed. I've also added a half-baked search engine for the blogs (you will see it on the blogs page). I know it's not 100% accurate, but it's pretty good.

Closing up shop for a bit
Date: 2007-06-06 Category: AnnouncementHi Folks! As you can probably see, I've been pretty lax with updating my website recently. There are many a reason (in no particular order):
- got a minor promotion at work, and it's taking more time
- doing some freelance work on the side for friends and family
- just got back from a trip to China
- I enjoy my couch potato time
- and finally, Facebook, dammit!
If there are any regular readers (other than my Mom (Hi Mom!)), I apologise for this lack of consideration. However, I'm already BORED with this design so when I get a chance, I'm going to try and do a re-design. Some things will stay (I'm very happy with the calendar interface, for example). In theory, you'll get to see more of my photos from travels, etc, once it's done. In the meantime, check out my google photo album
